Manor Farm is situated in the south-west corner of Wiltshire, bordering both Dorset and Hampshire. We are ideally located to explore a diverse and beautiful area of England.

Broadchalke is in the heart of the Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs Area of Outstanding Beauty a landscape renowned for its wonderful views and rich historic and natural features. Towns, Gardens and History

Wilshire, often referred to as the ‘Ancient Capital of England’, has a wealth of historical sites; the famous Stone Circles at Stonehenge and Avebury, both designated World Heritage Sites, Silbury Hill and the 8 white horses to name but a few.

The Medieval City of Salisbury, home to the stunning Cathedral and Close, is a fascinating place to spend a day. Other places of historical interest are Old Wardour Castle, Wilton House and Old Sarum.

The picturesque market town of Shaftesbury is 20 minutes drive, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch at Turnbulls and walk up the famous Gold Hill.

The area also boasts some fantastic gardens including Stourhead and Cranborne Manor, Heale house and Lacock Abbey.

Walking and Cycling

However, if you are not in a hurry the real beauty of our area can be discovered by walking, cycling or riding around our vast network of bridleways. There is no better way to admire the views and appreciate the tranquillity of the landscape.

There are approximately 3,790 miles of public rights of way in Wiltshire and many stunning walks and rides in our locality. We will endeavour to provide more information, maps and walking plans if requested.
